I have a digital scale, although it measures in grams, it only measures in whole grams. Can anyone recommend a reliable one which measures in decimals? i.e. 3.18g ?

I imagine the accuracy should be 0.01g?

Cheers!

fwiw, I bought this mini scale four years ago and it's still working great. Feature packed and remarkably stable, my only complaint is the labeling on the chromed buttons is tough to read for my old eyes...

Cheers!

I wish I would have bought that one. I bought this one in fall of 2015. It does work great and is still going strong, but at only 20g capacity I have to be careful what cup I use to measure in or I exceed it's capacity. (I use the leftover cups from NyQuil.) The scale is very accurate, but probably way more accurate than is needed. It will usually register the weight of one little 'prill' of calcium chloride.

I bought this "Skyroku" (mini) scale for $12 (Amazon).
Comes with a 100gr calibration weight and tweezers.

Range: 0-100g in 0.01g
Seems very accurate and repeatable.

I bought this for $8 on a lightning deal, and it's worked well. Or at least, I think it does. For all I know it's way off, but I trust it.

Before buying it, I only used this. It's fine for grains and good enough for hops, but not very precise for salts. Although it makes me wonder - if I need 7 grams of gypsum and my scale only has whole grams, is there going to be any noticeable impact in 6.5 vs 7.4 grams of gypsum in a 5 gallon batch?

looks exactly like mine, but my buttons are round. here's mine, and a link in case you don't want to have to spend $25 on amazon for them to include shipping, and say it's free... ;)

Bought this in 1979 for some other stuff. Still works great and has come in handy for salts and hops.

Here's pretty much the same Amazon one if you have Prime. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PHMRSL7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I've only had it for a few weeks but works good so far. It measures prills and grains and came with a 100g reference weight.
