what temp to pitch Wyeast 2633 Octoberfest Lager Blend

My friend is going to try making his first lager. We're quivering what temperature to pitch the yeast at - the fermentation temp (48 or so) or room temp (72).
 
I'd pitch it as close to fermentation temperature as you can.

I'll also add that i hope hes made a big starter because there is not nearly enough yeast in Wyeast or White labs vials for a Lager.
