I know others have posted DIY tap handles that they made from stuff from a lumber yard.
These were pre fab. All I had to do was thread them on.
Tap Handle one. I call it "The Lawn Mower Starter"
Here is what it looks like installed:
Tap Handle #2 "The Ball" I am using it right now.
#1 is $3 and #2 is $4. The store they came from, Menards is doing an 11% rebate right now.
They get cheaper in bulk but my store didn't have them in stock
3 pack of #1
4 pack of #2
That makes the ball almost half price.
#1 comes with a plug covering the hole in the top. I could thread it all the way down without needing to pull the plug.
I think my store had the teardrop shape, they don't show it online however.
They were $5 each, they are cheaper than that online from the brew shops.
William's has them for $2.50
I would have just ordered them but they are out of the EVA Barrier hose I need.
So mail homebrew shop beats regional hardware chain on price.
How often does that happen?
