Hello, my experience with fermentation is limited, I have made all kinds of kombucha, I helped friends of the family who own a winery with the final process for a season.
We recently moved to southern Virginia. I ordered a 1 and 5 gallon kit with the carboys, food grade buckets, siphon, hydrometer, hoses, filter bags and 5 different types of yeast.
I have really enjoyed making kombucha, adding fruit and spices, some it is the same as making wine or mead.
Hopefully I can add something to the forum as I learn.
