One of the bines on my cascade plant dried up and died. The hops on the bine have also dried lost their color but still have yellow lupulin. Can they still be used? As long as they don't smell bad they are fine to use right? I'm gonna pick them and put them in the freezer till I can brew with them within the next 2 weeeks

I concur. If they smell good, use them. They don't look much different from my dried homegrown hops. Maybe a little more brown, but no big deal.

Thanks guys! Got about 2 and a 1/4 oz this harvest plus 0.7 oz earlier this summer. Then I got half oz chinook earlier and I still got maybe an oz more of chinook still on the bines plus a few cones of centennial lol. All going into a session IPA. I guess I might have over 4 oz total so I guess I can call it an IPA
