I have conflicting information... does anyone know for certain if the strains in the bottle of these breweries are merely a conditioning yeast, or are they in fact the same as the primary fermentation yeast?

My wife brought home a good selection of these for me, and I thought I would harvest them if it is worthwhile. But as I said, I have seen conflicting information on the yeasts in the bottle.
