3 gal Fermonster - total volume?

All - Have been brewing 1 gal batches in my 1 gal BMB, and I'm ready to move up on batch size to 2.5 gallon (5 gallon recipe kits split in half. Was looking at picking up the 3 gallon fermonster and was wondering if anyone knows what the total volume a 3 gal holds. (Is it 3 gal or a little more?

I don't have one (yet) but the 6 gal and 7 gal both have plenty of space above the stated capacity. I think the 3 gal would be perfect for 2.5 gal batches.

According to the manufacturer, the 3 gallon version will hold 3.2 gallons when completely full.
