Personally I would pass on it. I personally don't open a fermenter once the yeast is in unless I am dry hopping or adding a finish yeast. But if you do go for it just keep things clean and sanitary and you'll be fine.

RIGHT! I gotta tell ya Helles is a favorite style.. It is fairly easy to brew a good one. Choose your yeast wisely and nail the water profile and ferment temps and you'll crush this style. Really fairly easy since its such a malt forward beer.

Been playing around with really high hydration. Such a fun hobby! I was given 500# of really good bread flour. I gave 400# of it away to friends. Playing with bread has never been more fun!

I came up with a pretty cool multi use tool in the brewery.... sparge, rack and whirlpool with the same tool. totally adjustable Just change the way you put it in the kettle.
We are building these to YOUR specs for YOUR kettle. This can get your sparge plate down to about 1/2 the kettle depth...
