- Tasting Notes
- not bitter for a stout nice slightly sweet coffee taste with some roasted flavors
7 lbs 7.7 oz 2-row
1 lbs 11.2 Chocolate malt
1 lbs 3.2 oz Munich-20L
11.2 oz Crystal 60
11.2 oz flaked barley
7.5 oz Oats flaked
7.0 oz Roasted barley
0.53 oz Magnum 60 min
0.88 Kent goldings 10 min
1 whirfloc tab 15 min
1 lb milk sugar 15 min
Mash 156 60 min
1 cup Cacao nibs soaked in vodka for 48 hrs added at third week.
1 cup of coffee tonic (cold brew) at beginning of fourth week for five days.
Kegged for 1 week at 13 psi.
Delicious, homebrew club members hate stouts cause it's too bitter. They said its light for the style (which is what I was going for) and very drinkable.
