Best names for your beer batch?

A couple years ago I brewed an ipa and after racking to the fermenter I used magnets to suspend a mesh bag of hops above the wort. As I was replacing the fermenter lid the magnets gave out, which forced me to have to do another dry hop later in the process. The beer turned out ok, not great, and...

    Random Picture Thread

It was quite hard for me to initially see the circles. But once I finally did it's now hard to unsee them.

I get it, just come back to it when your body is ready. ;) At any rate, they are there. You have to stare at it for a few seconds and they become obvious.

Best names for your beer batch?

Currently have an Irish red Ale on tap, which I've brewed many times. The first time I brewed it I hadn't yet named it and a co-worker came in to work with his hand all bandaged. Seems he had a mishap with a hacksaw. In my mind I thought about the life of a hacksaw, being made to wear down it's...

I Dream of Jenny - Cream ale (Genessee Cream Ale clone)

I forgot about this thread until this evening when I came across it while "unwatching" a bunch of older threads. I actually brewed this, or at least my take on this, back in early April. 40% Weyermann Pilsner 40% Rahr 2-Row 20% Flaked Wheat Corn Magnum 12.7 ibu's @ 60 mins. Willamette 2.2...

    Soup

I like both types of soups, though when I think of the term "chowder" I think New England style.

Beautiful pics. Watkins Glen SP is great for hiking. Spent a lot of my younger years hiking around there and the other falls down towards Ithaca. Also, both Watkins Glen and Ithaca are fun towns to walk around. Great vibes and some really good restaurants too.

American IPA The New West Coast IPA

I think this is a very good recipe, I brewed it once as an ipa and was quite happy with it. I want to brew it again, but this time as a 5% to 5.5% pale ale. I'll still stick with the same percentage of grains, approximately 70% Barke Pilsner and 30% 2-Row, just at lesser amounts to finish at a...

    Stupid Joke Thread!

Mikel bought a camel from a farmer for $100. The farmer agreed to deliver the camel the next day. In the morning he drove up and said, 'Sorry son, but I have some bad news. The camel's died.' Mikel replied, 'Well just give me my money back then.' The farmer said, 'Can't do that. I've already...

    Random Drunken Thoughts Thread

Recently bought a pack of gummy worms, and I read on the package, "No artificial flavor." Really!?!? Who buys gummy worms hoping they taste as close to real worms as possible!!
