    Ways To Lower S-04 Acidity?

Might be something there as I only carbonate my stout to 1.2 volumes before eventually putting it on 70/30 beer gas... Cheers!

    Ways To Lower S-04 Acidity?

fwiw, I've been brewing ten gallon batches of a 1.107 OG imperial chocolate stout using S04 for many years using RO water with a TDS of 10 or less - so hardly any RA at all to start. That same RO water requires between 20 and 25 ml of 25% PA in the strike liquor for all of my other 10 gallon...

    Spot the Space Station

Scrubbed. Don't know why yet but apparently the "Ground Launch Sequencer" detected a fault somewhere and automatically halted the show. I'm presuming that's a ULA issue but might be wrong...

Hold invoked at T-3:50. Not looking good for launch today. Systems have been recycled back to T-4:00 where they're holding now while they try to figure out what went wrong...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

I run a six-pack of SwissFlow SF800 meters. Folks have used various Hall Effect meters as well like the inexpensive yf-s201. Very important to find a meter with the ability to measure at very low flow rates like down in the 1 LPM range... Cheers!

    Consistently low FG’s

Just for the record, when you are hitting your pre-boil volume, are you also hitting your expected pre-boil gravity? Or - skipping ahead - is your volume to the fermentor and its "Original Gravity" per recipe? Cheers!

    Love Golf?

You're probably right about the ticks. Not having an actual "winter" this year I think we've been set up for blood letting

HELP: All hoppy beers develop same flavor

fwiw, I've been dissolving one teaspoon of ascorbic acid in 30ml of warm water and injecting it into each purged keg and believe it really does extend the shelf life of my neipas. In this post-Covid stay-home world where I'm not getting as much help kicking kegs I've had them go 6 months and...

HELP: All hoppy beers develop same flavor

Well, you knew it was coming :) but the symptoms - aside from the lack of color change which is actually one of the last stages of hoppy beer death - sure sounds like oxidation taking its toll. And oxidation seeks out hoppy beers with a vengeance, so... That said, the only process step I'm...

    They call it "Domestic Beer

I've only ever had Peroni when in Italy, and I found it refreshingly dry and effervescent - but otherwise nearly devoid of character. But, we never went to Italy for the beer, so it was ok :) Cheers!

BruControl: Brewery control & automation software

^definitely^ needs an "analog" transfer control input which can take many forms: 0-5 VDC, 0-12 VDC, 4-20ma (<- that one takes me back about five decades  ). Not a pulse width control thing...
