    Bland peach cider

Dang that’s what I figured. So I guess as far as where I’m at now it’s just move forward, let it finish its cold crash, and then rack/prom then rack/bottle and just have a very slightly peach - apple cider huh? Lol Hypothetically if it finishes a cold crash or even if I pull it out now, and...

    Bland peach cider

Yeah I backsweetened with Erythritol, I don’t mind the taste and enjoy the peace of mind of not causing fermentation again but also I try not to stabilize so I can carbonate with my priming sugar (1/4 can whichever juice concentrate I pick). If I stabilize (and then backsweeten with juice) next...

    Bland peach cider

Tried my hands at a peach cider, used a jar of peach preserves and martinelli apple juice, had a couple leftover frozen/thawed peaches on hand that I threw in (literally like 3 or something insignificant). Tossed in EC-1118 and some fermaid o. Dried out to a 1.000. Backsweetened with a simple...

Adding yeast after fermentation is done?

Also, piggy back question about abv if it’s alright. My starting gravity was 1.042, and my ending gravity now is 0.096. All my calculations/calculators are giving me an insane abv, is %28.5 realistic or is it more likely I read my starting wrong? Base contents were 96 oz apple juice, 32 oz...

    How did you find us?

Made one successful cider after a not as successful mead/jet fuel. Now I’ve got 3 ciders brewing and looking for tips and pointers and just knowledge. A google search for “cider brewing forum” brought me on over. Happy brewing!

Very new to brewing (only 1 mead and one cider done with three brewing now under the belt). Looking to learn tips and tricks and have fun brewing! If you’ve got any “things I wish I knew when first starting, I’m all ears!” Happy brewing!

Awesome! We are extremely excited for the pineapple one so I’m glad it’s not chalked. Thanks again!

Adding yeast after fermentation is done?

So I’m new to cider brewing, basically brewing entirely. I’ve made one pomegranate mead/jet fuel and then tried a pineapple cider that turned out amazingly. Got hooked on cider making immediately and now I’m just focusing and playing with that. I currently have 3 batches going right now, a...
