That's what I was thinking. Just put it into the smaller one for the second fermentation. I don't plan on doing that more then 2 brews. I want to try some cider also.
Ive been brewing for awhile and im looking into doing other things but i want to keep making beer. Would it affect the beer if i decided to make 1 gallon brew in a 5 gallon carboy? when i do the second fermentation I will put it into a smaller carboy because of the CO2 but would it affect anything?

That's the link to what i was suppose to make. So far i have comments of it being the bomb to it tasting tarty. The only thing everyone can agree on is that they are surprised i have little to no sediment in there.
Sorry to bring up old topics, but once you put the caps in sanitize do you need to turn the bottles over? if so how long should you leave them like that? Also do you sanitize them one at a time or all at once?
